Motor won't turn over

I was during doing a compression test on 8 today. I have an 04 GTO. I had to re-ring number 1. So, the cradle was dropped. I have turned the motor over several times doing compression tests over the last few days. I had one last cylinder to check and now it won't turn over. The usual fuel gauge error. ABS, fuel warnings etc came on while cranking but this time the motor would not turn over and a contact dealer sign came on. It seems to have locked out the motor for safety factors.

I need some help with this. Thanks, confused!

"Won't turn over" means the starter is NOT spinning the engine. As in seized or stuck.
Is the starter spinning the engine over?
Reason I ask is in another thread, OP said it wasn't turning over, but it just wasn't starting, even though the starter WAS actually "turning it over".

No the starter is not stuck. The motor is not locked. The starter acts as though it has no electricity. The pan is off and the motor spins freely with a wrench. As mentioned the dash info screen states to call dealer. Something is locking the start circuit. When you turn the key on all the instruments light up and you hear the usual chimes, but when you turn it futrher to the start position it does nothing. Instead it sends see dealer?? Battery is good and the headlights are bright.

Jump the starter solenoid and see if it kicks the starter over.
