whats this sound ?
 

ive got a sound , kinda like a belt , at start up and sometimes at idle and when i turn on my a/c but then goes away . ive replaced my belt and it did nothin . could this be a whiny a/c clutch ? the a/c works fine . could it be a bad tensioner keeping the belt loose? its not the sound you always here when a car takes off and the belt whines like hell , its only for a couple of seconds and a little worse when the a/c is on.

*shrugs and shoots you* Techs HATE those completly useless descriptions ;)

if it's during the startup, it could be a noisey air pump. i'm not sure how it would be affected by the A/C, though..
