K@N if you don't mind spending $12 at Autozone. This is an informative site. http://www.oilfilterstudy.com/

K&N Long here...HP 2006. I used to use Fram, but not after I figured out they weren't good. My dad still uses them though

Guys, here's a study on oil filters from a while back. They guy cut apart a wide array of filters to study what's inside. I did likewise with several and found that FRAM filters SUCK! I wouldn't put one on my lawmower.

I usually use the K&N oil filter (#2006), but if they're out of them at the local auto parts store, I just run down to Wal-Mart and pick up a Supertech filter... those are actually pretty good filters, and damn cheap ($1.97).

I've used the Fram Tough Guard filter the last two times, looks like I won't be doing that anymore.
