Default cruise control quit

After I put in my new clutch, my cruise control does'nt work any more.. I'm guessing I pulled a wire somewhere, but if anyone has had this problem, and found the fix...that would be helpful for me...
THanks.

I had this same problem! Check this out:
-Pull down the knee bolster on the driver's side(lower dash panel below steering column where the hatch release button is).
-Disconnect the hatch release button.
-Move the drivers seat all the way back and then recline the backrest all the way down.
-Lay down on the seat backwards (your head should be under the dash, while your feet are on the backseat).
-Take a look at the clutch pedal and follow it up to where the pedal mounts under the dash.
-There will be two switches for the clutch, one on each side (one on the engine side of the pedal and the other on the seat side of the pedal).
-The switch on the seat side is the one you are looking for.
-This switch should be fully depressed when the clutch is engaged. When the clutch pedal is not being touched at all the switch should be completely depressed. If its not then pull the switch off it's bracket and adjust it (it has threads for adjustment) until it is fully depressed with the clutch being fully engaged. This switch lets the ECM know that the clutch is engaged and it is safe to allow the cruise to work. If the switch is fully depressed then the ECM thinks the trans is in like a neutral state. If the cruise was allowed to work like this then the engine would continue to rev until it blew or hit the rev limiter.

I'll give that a try.. I had my cruise set one night, and I pulled the car into neutral without using the clutch... and as the car started to slow down the engine raced up... Really freaked me out untill I figured out what had happened... Thanks.

I had this happen too... I had to adjust the McLeod Master to fully engage the "clutch sensor". There is a white'ish yellow plastic piece that has what looks like a button on it that sits against the clutch pedal. Make sure that it is pushed in when the clutch is fully engaged.

Did you find it because of the instructions in the above post, or just from looking??

Well I was checking out what could be the problem on here a few months ago and when I was installing my stereo this past week I was already in there and decided to take a look!!

Fortunately it was an easy fix
