Driver side window wont roll up(99 TA)

(99 TA) This morning my girls driver side window wouldnt roll up. So i picked up the car and brought it home.. took the door panel off... checked the cables and such... and with the car off and the key in the on position... i press the button and i can hear some click or indication something is happening coming from the dash or fuse box.. Now on the side panel fuse box the WINDOWS fuse i removed and placed back in and still nothign...is there any other fuse for the windows? the passenger side window works fine.. im thinking its the motor... but is there anything else i can check? She mentioned that when the window stopped working, the dash lights also turned off... so she couldnt see the speed or gauages... and she mentioned to me that the motor was replaced a few years back... any suggestions on what to try...

Your best bet is to just replace the motor, its $50 at autozone. Check to see if you have the lifetime warrenty for the window motor too, could save you the $50.
Here is a walkthrough:

ok.. thanks for the link and the info...

so now do you think or does anyone think that the dash lights and this is tied together or did she just get that lucky that the lights on the dash and her window stopped working at the same time.

The only thing I can think of is to check the battery connection, make sure its not corroded (sp?).

i hope its not, cause we just put in a new battery about 2 weeks maybe 1 week ago and installed new terminals.. but ill check that as well thanks..

Then its probably not.

I was suggesting that because the my car was acting weird for a while, having trouble starting some times, etc. We checked the connection, and the positive was correded to hell. We cleaned it and no problems since (and my battery power went up).

My dash lights don't work either, but I thin I shorted the switch when I was trying to find the short in my headlights. I'm going to try a new switch for the dome lights and dash lights.
