my windows don't work sometimes
 
I got a 02 TA m6 with 37000 miles on it

this summer I got the right window that didnt want to go up for like 10 minutes then just started working a gain
I told myslef its was nothing and it worked fine all last two month

now yesterday both windows rolled down and then rolled up a couple inch and then nothing, five minutes after went up a little bit and then went up totally
can you help me ?

Your window motors are going out. The reason they stop is because they when you roll them up they get hot. They work again once they cool back down. Eventually they will quit working all together.

Yep, it seems all 4th gen fbodys have this window motor problem, ive had both go out.

Silly Tuner, Gm wants to fix it.

All i can say is of all the things that never got fixed through from LT1-LS1-end of production, that has to be the dumbest of all. I think the engineers should get slugged in the balls with 4-iron.

I mean come on, no way they didnt see them going out early on these cars.

It was all about money. And getting you to take your car in.

I just bought a couple of motor on ebay they were 91 $ for both including shipping
so you say that they are a pain to cahnge , do you have or know any webpage article on how to do it

Motor is going. It heats up and will not work, then cools down and will work again. $30 on e-bay. do it yourself. installuniversity.com

it is easy as long as you have a drill and bits and a screw driver print the tech article out and use as reference

The dealer charged me $300+ parts and installation. I recommend doing it yourself as well.
