Default what oil should I use?

which weight oil should i use with my setup below.

if your motor has just been build ive been told to use a cheap brand non synthetic oil for the break in period. after the break in switch to synthetic. the reasoning for this is synthetic is too slippery and your rings cant really seat.

ive already put 3k on it so i put in AMSOIL 10w -30. Is that a good choice?

id go with M1 5W-40. I just switched to this from their 10W-30 and my oil pressure is significantly better than with the 10W-30. Just my opinion.

I really like the Amsoil 5W40. Good weight for LS1's.

Yes, it's good stuff.
If you get tired of paying so much for oil, a quality conventional oil will work just fine.
