Horn problems

Drove through some water not very deep at all and afterwards noticed my horn sounded weak, what happened?

Same thing happened to my car while driving on the freeway in HEAVY rain. I was going about 30mph or less and was still afraid of wrecking, just to explain how much it was raining. After I got home and locked my car, the horn beeped twice, and I started laughing. Horn sounded weak. Seems like it is getting better now, so my only guess is there was water in it and its slowly drying out.

one of your horns went out.
I have replaced 2 in my 00T/A.

should i wait to replace it or let it sit and eventally the moisture will dry out?

went about a month before i replaced mine.
It did not dry out.

mines been like it for months. i cant even honk on the highway to race people b/c i cant hear it and neither can they.
