Change to synthetic oil?

Change to synthetic oil? I recently changed to synthetic oil in my 1999 Pontiac Trans Am. I have notice a slight drop in oil preasure. Has anyone else encountered this? Is this something common with synthetic oils?

I use Castrol 0w30 (Green German stuff) - Oil pressure raised. However at the same time I changed I changed Cam etc. But either way, I have great pressure w/ synthetic.
