Default Puddle on door kick

Is having water on the door sill (whatever you call it) normal after washing the car?

Yes it's normal, I always bring a special towel along to get the water off the door jambs and all the other little nooks and cranny's that water gets when washing. But none should actually get inside the car unless the seal is weathered.
