locked my keys in my car
Just wanted to see if it was safe to use a slim jim on our cars....the locksmith is coming in a little while...charging me $50.00 for 30 seconds worth of work...any other suggestions??

I had one used on my Trans Am and it worked fine ... wouldn't wnat just anyone trying it though without knowing it wouldn't pull loose any wiring connectors. Go online real quick and see if you can find a diagram of where everything in the door is located and you should be able to tell if it's safe to do without hosing anything up.

Ben you dumb ***.. ..just go to any GM dealer and get a key made..they can do it from your VIN number...since you moved to Mississippi you sure got stupid all of a sudden..

Yes, have a key made from any GM dealer. If would be advisable to call that locksmith, if you do go with the key from a dealer, as I'm sure the locksmith will still charge you if he comes and doesn't unlock your car.

Yeah, Ive gotten into my car many times just pull the window. If It helps you can use a some oil(cooking) or somthing and your arm will slide right in. I swear there is so many ways to get into a Fbody its not even funny.
