Electrical Problem

99 trans am
new battery

I am having a problem with my drivers window stopping at random times. It will go work for about two seconds then stop for about 10-15 seconds then work again for another two-four. What could be causing this. The passenger window is working fine. The window doesn't roll up slow so I don't think it's the window motor. Could it possibly be a loose ground? I could be driving while this is happening or simply sitting still.

Also, when I shut my car off the oil gauge starts crawling up. Is my instrumentation bad or could this possibly be a loose ground?

If it's a possibility of a loose ground could someone tell me where the ground is so I could check it?

Welcome to one of the most common Fbody complaints! Your window motor is bad. Here is a good guide to help you. http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

As far as the gauge thing, i have no idea.

*Edit*
Did some searching for ya. It seems that 99's are known for having bad/ ultra-sensitive gauges. Not saying this is your problem, just trying to help. Check these links out.

Thanks! I'm going to change both the driver and passenger window motors.
