Default Running Silverstars in the parking lamps

I really like how bright and crisp the Camaro daytime running parking lamps look, so I want to replace them with as nice a bulb as possible. I was looking at the Silverstars, and searching the forums it seems like a lot of people have had good luck with them. But looking in the stores they all seem to be clear/bluish bulbs that glow amber. This would be great if I wanted to switch to clear lenses, but I do not. It seems to me with the housing already orange, the best look would be as clean and bright a white bulb behind it as possible. Do they make 3057 clear Silverstars or are you guys that have them using amber even with stock lenses? Looking at the application guide on Sylvanias site they only list the size (3057) but most brands offer these in both clear or amber. What's the deal?

I dunno....I never quite understood the bulb numbering system, although I know there's some rhyme or reason to it. At least I thought for instance a 2057, and a 3057 are the same size and fitting, but the 3057 is double filament like for a brake light. Is a 3157, also the same thing but a different color?

Yeah, I confirmed it's a 3157. Still I can't find any that are not amber. Can anyone confirm they make this size in white? If you know where to buy them that'd be awesome too. I even checked Ebay and they're all amber.
