New rubber boots for brake caliper slider pins
Ok, I need to replace all 8 of the rubber boots/seals that retain the grease on the slider pins for the brake calipers as they are beginning to deteriorate.
Can these be found anywhere else besides the stealership?
TIA

If I can remember right, I replaced my caliper sliding pins with some new pins that came with the rubber piece. I got them at Advance. Shouldn't be hard to get.

I hope so at this price.
Can't just buy the rubber boots?
Nothing wrong with my pins, just the boots.
*EDIT............................................. .........................
OK it appears from all the C5 brake conversion sites and others that P/n 12530703 also fits the front caliper pins, so 8 of these would be needed to replace them all the way around.
I'm not quite sure what p/n 18026151 is (comes up just as "Guide") unless its the pin with the boot.
But I did find this kit for $11.48 at the local auto parts store:
USA Brake PIN BOOT KIT
Part Number: 18047A
2002 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM
Engine: V8 5.7 Liter FI
Pin Boot Kit; Front & Rear
I think I'll give this a try first, if its not right I can just take it back and order the other ones.
