Car Won't Start

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out. My car won't start. I haven't tried to start it since last weekend which it started just fine on Sunday. Today it won't start. The starter won't even *click* or act like its engaging. About the only thing I can think of is the starter solenoid. I tried recharging the battery-that didn't work. I even replaced the battery-no worky. Nothing.

Is it the solenoid? Or am I missing something?

The only thing I've done to it since Sunday is removed an Autometer A/F gage and replaced it with a Trans temp gage. But I'm pretty sure I got the wiring done right. Is there a chance I blew a fuse?

Stumped

Please help

Check your fuses and make sure you did not knock any grounds off.

Problem solved. It was a gage fuse.:eyes:

Thanks:)

Have them put an ammeter on it, hit the min/max button, and let it sit for a few hours. This should tell them if they have a drain...if you do, start pulling fuses...if when you pull a fuse the drain goes away, then you know which circuit has a drain.

Its hard to tell on intermittent problems...I hate cars like yours that come in (I work as a Tech at Chevy), very hard to diagnose.
