02 Hatch Won't Release
 

I didn't want to hijack the thread that the guy with the 98 had so i figured I'd start my own. Before anyone asks I've done both mods that installuniversity has and neither work. I need to pull up on my hatch while hitting the release 3 or 4 times before my hatch will open. I used the exact spring that installuniversity suggested and even tried a heavier spring piggybacked with the factory spring but nothing has worked. Anyone have any other ideas? This one is really pissing me off! :bang:

Wheel bearing grease seriously fixed it for me. As well the little golden (gold zinc) bar had a big piece missing out of it from wear so i filled it down some with a bastard file
