Default Hatch Problem

hi it seems the hatch on my new TA is fitted oddly the hatch seems to be further back than the rear fenders... it so far back that when i close the hatch it hits the breaklights and the panel in beetween them slightly so i cant even close the hatch properly. is there a solution to this.. can i adjust the rear hatch like i can with the hood?

ill try to post them tonight it just seems like the entire hatch is to far back. i know the car had a slight accident before i bought it but the sail panel seems to be in the right place and the t-tops fit fine so i cant understand why the hatch dosnt firt corectly.. i culd the hatch wuld need to go back about a quarter of an inch or maybe a bit less so that it wuld look right

There is some adjustment on the hinge bolts, the hatch is heavy so make sure you have help if you loosen the bolts.

Well hi guys! i think i found the problem, it seems like the roof (or just the back part of it) is a bit to low that culd wery well be as a tree fell down on the car and hit the top and must have bended the roof. im going to take a look at the adjustment thing on the hinges and try to fix that.. or else ill have to see a shop to correct the roofpanel
