Trip resets on it's own??
 

Ok here is the deal. every time i start my car my trip resets but when this happens it's like i have a corvette cause all the gages go from left to right and just like the corvette. but if i just put the key in and turn it to the radio on my last trip is still there. what the hell is it???

your battery is dying. Go buy whatever brand battery you want. Maybe a red optima to go with your red themed engine bay.
