Sounds like battery problems to me. If you recharge the battery or buy a new one ,you will see that problem go away.

Not to suggest it again, cause its aready been said, but I had a similar prob. Got the battery tested, checked and all. Ended up having to get it towed cause it wouldnt run. It would start, but unless I stayed in the throttle, it would die right away. Turned out, it was the battery. It was in my truck, but hey it can happen. Those things can cause some crazy probs. Buddy of mine has a 97Z, he went to lock his doors one time and it kicked his CD out of the player. It was the battery. WIERD. Good Luck

I would also try a new battery. My gauges were doing odd things when my battery needed to be replaced.

I had the same thing happen in mine.

It was the battery.

It was completely shot, leaking fluid everywhere. If you do have fluid in your engine bay, wash that **** off asap and then pour some coke on it...I did'nt and got some rust.

check for corrosion on the terminals and if there ok...get a new battery. I've been there done that.
