Question Can I change my own U-joints?

I hearing some noise when I shift or let out the clutch from a stop. car has 103k miles on stock u-joints so I thought what the heck, might help, coulnt hurt anything. So i take a look at them and it lookes like there are no nuts to loosen, are they pressed in? Ive changed U-joints plenty of times... how do I take them out/ get the new ones in? any help would be appriciated.

Do you have the aluminum driveshaft? I know for sure on those they use an injected plast retainer from the factory. I'm not sure if they use that on the steel driveshafts...I dont think they do. Anyway, grab a propane torch (not an oxy-acetylene) and heat the ears around the joint caps. The plastic should melt and work its way out the holes like a worm. After that you can either press the old ones out and new ones in with a press or ball joint remover, or you can hammer them out with a socket the same size as the joint. I bench vise is helpful with the hammering way.
