Default A scanner that will scan DTC's for Chevy vehicles?

I want to get a scanner that will scan DTC's for a 1999 Camaro and a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Im just not sure what scanner is highly recommended. Anyways is there a scanner out there that will do both of them or will I have to get a scanner for each of the vehicles? Links to scanners? Thanks in advance.

Just buy a handheld programmer like diablo it will read all dtc's and you get to program your vehicle at the same time....

All vehicles since 1996 use OBDII codes, so any OBDII reader will work. The prices at Auto Zone are down to about 60 bucks now for a basic code reader.

You can get the scan only version of EFILive. Will scan your vehicles, has bi-directional controls, and a few other very nice features. Check the link in my sig for pricing

If all you want to do is read and erase codes, then I'd go with a cheap one from an auto parts store as said above.
