Default right rear blinker/brake

I have a 01 formula, the other day my passenger side rear turn signle/brake light quit working. But the tail light works just fine. I tried new bulbs and still have the same problem. Anybody else ever have this problem or any ideas as to what it might be??? Thanks in Advance.

correct me if im wrong:if you turn on the night lights, the rear lights work, but when you hit the brakes, they dont work. i had the same problem, and it was due to a bad ground in the socket itself. if youve ever cut a bunch of wiring and spliced them with another part, this job takes less than 5 minutes. include a decent set of shrink tubing.

if you go to a GM dealer, they will charge you 60 bucks ONLY for the socket PART. I went to autozone, and got a similar socket, cost me 5 bucks, make sure it is the flat kind because our car's lights are shallow (youll see what i mean).
