I was fixing my wheel stud and i was putting on my tires and noticed that my back driver side wheel is rubbing on the front buttom of the finder well. Checked the other side and theres plenty of room. Any kind of hints would help. thanks

Sounds like its way out of whack, crooked.... does the car track straight when driving ? Do you have abnormal tread wear ?

Couple questions.

1. Is the tire actually resting on the fender well?

2. Is it just a rub mark on the fender well? If so it may be normal if...

-1 Is your car lowered or do you have extra weight in the rear?

-2 What size and brand of tires are you running. My GS-D3's were actually an inch wider than the stock GS's that come with our cars.

My car rubs a bit on inside of the rear drivers side fenderwell when cornering really hard. My alignment is perfect but my tires are wider than normal 275's.

I just put umi panhard rod non adj, i replaced the rearend and few months ago. But it drives fine. When i launch it goes straight. I'm doing 1.7 60ft. I'm going to check the phb. Its barely rubbing. I managed to bend a lil bit of it so it wouldn't rub. Just rotated my tires last week and the tire that was orginally in that spot had no wear on the sidewall. please need more advice.

get an adjustable Torque Arm and get a angle finder and center your rear

I hate to going to shops. I've been here a year and the times that i have gone they try to rip me off. There's only 2 other people that touch my car and they live far.

I had the same prob on my vehicle an adj panhard rod and a good a chassi and frame shop should be able to fix it. I think the labor for installation and aligning the rear end ran about $250.

Wow i just realized exactly what you said your prob was, my rearend just shifted it did not do what your describing. My advice is to find chassi and frame shop, try and get more that one diagnosis and price estimate.

is the car jacked up?
cause if it is the rear end doesnt go straight up and down it moves to the passenger side the farther the rear end it droped.
you are running a bigger tire if so that is what is making this happen.
if you dont see any marks in the tire than it is fine.
i dont think you need to worry about it.

really the rear end is pivoting going to the passenger side of the car when it gets higher. that is why people get adjustable panhard bars to move the rear end to the passenger side when they lower their cars.

Edit
try checking when the car is on the ground if it still rubs
