very quick ? about power steering fluid

hey guys
my power steering fluid might be a little low and i read the manual and it said to use a specific fluid from GM. I have power steering fluid here at the house that sayis it meets the requirements of GM, Ford, and some foriegn vehicles. Is it ok to use this fluid or should i get some at GM. thanks and Happy Thanksgiving
