Default LT1 With 160degree stat, should I have heat?

Seems I never get any heat before I get where I'm going, normal for a 160 degree stat, driving in sub freezing temps?

If its just sitting there ( long drive through lines ) the temp will start to go up, but as soon as Im back on the road it cools back off again... always ~ 180degrees

i dont think its uncommon for that to happen with LT1's with the 160

I have the 160 and a EWP and mine takes a little while to heat up but i will get heat eventually and blows pretty hot when i warms up but it does take a while

I dont have the EWP, but it takes maybe 3-5 minutes for heat to come out, but when it does, its hot. It just takes longer.
