Default Qs about transmitter receiver location and the door rubber

Hi there

I bought this like new Z and I have only 2 issues with it:

1- The first owner didn't gave me a keyless remote transmitter and he told me that he can not remember If it came with that option or not.

So plz if you can help me in any thing about where I can find the receiver and how to program it, the transmitter part number and if there is any online store providing the transmitter

2- My Z is T-tops when it rains, there is water dropping between the stationary rubber and the t-top rubber. What do you think the solution?

thank you in advance

If you can find the RPO code for the keyless entry option you can look on the door jamb and see if the RPO code is there. If it has keyless entry there should be a red led on the dash towards the windshield that flashes when armed.

There is no LED in the dash. Can we say my Z dose NOT have keyless entry option?
Or it only tell us that it has not security system

Well, you didn't say what year, so it's a little difficult.
Google on RPO code and you will find lots of sites.
IIRC, it should be part of an option package. I believe if you have cruise, power windows and door locks, then you should have remote keyless entry.
There is a way to learn the remote (don't remember the procedure). I think the dealer can sell you one and most likely program it for you.

As far as the leak, I suggest replacing the t-top rubber.

O.K., what does out of USA mean? You did not put your location in your profile.

My Formula has every option except for leather, t-tops, and TCS and I dont have keyless entry.

It was a seperate option them. Google the RPO code for it, it took me maybe 10 seconds to find this for you.

AUD or AUO is the RPO code for keyless entry for 82-02 F-body's.

I think one is the alarm w/door locking and the other is just remote door locking w/ no alarm
