Any one else go threw blinkers alot?? Is it just me or does anyone else seem to go threw blinkers alot i have replaced mine twice in 3 months same thing happened when I had my v6. I dont even use my blinkers that much lol is this happening to anyone else. |
my fronts i have to replace about 2-3 times a year. i just figured that it was due to the daytime running lights always being on. |
Replaced mine twice on the T/A (both front) . I don't really mind it since I can fit my hand in the lil hole right under the running light and chance it in about a minute. |
Yeah its annoying. The worst is when they blow up and I get shards of glass in there. Still havent gotten them out. They seem to go out when it rains. I think the rain touches the hot bulb and blows. |

a common problem are the sockets themselves, there proned to getting crap in them and blowing the bulbs |
You guys with the fucked up lights need to throw in some blinker fluid when you replace the lights to keep the problem from coming back. |
i clean my sockets with alcohol, works pretty good breaks all that crap down |
Same problem I had the same problem with my 99 Trans Am. I ended up buying connectors from GM for both sides. Problem I have now is I sold the car but still have the connectors. They are on ebay now. |
ebay ftw |
I have the same problem, but i have never heard of blinker fluid, whats that? |

You can buy synthetic blinker fluid here synthetic blinker fluid All the autozones dont keep it on the shelfs where the oils are so you have to ask them since its behind the counter for some reason. |
Yes sockets have been replaced on mine as well due to bulbs going out constantly- common weak link... Everyone has this issue after awhile unless there just darn lucky. |
Synthetic blinker fluid is the shit. You only have to change it when they flash slower. My stock blinker fluid did not last for shit. This new stuff is awesome. Just pour it into the tailpipe once every few months and you are good. |
