Default window motor $250 to install at shop?

Hi,
I have a 1998 z28 and of course im one of those people with that bad window motor. Can I get this at autozone? or do you have a link to website that has a good motor? Also I need to clean my K&n air filter. Does autozone sell the cleaning solution? I went to SLP website but they have a minimum order amount. Thanks

Went the ebay route last year - get one locally. Supposedly new GM unit from a store. Worked but noisey seconds after install. If I would've gotten one locally and was bad could've brought it back immediately, while the door panel was still off. I'm going to replace it again in a couple weeks, with one from Auto Zone - at least I won't have to drill rivets again.

If you are by chance replacing the passenger side, consider our window kit along with your install.

100 for the marked up motor and 150 tax and labor, not unreasonable if you dont want to do it.

Like he said, they mark up the part and labor isn't cheap anywhere. That's why it's always best to do it yourself. That is the purpose of this forum after all. If someone hasn't already posted it, here's a link to instructions on the R&R of the window motor:

http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

And if it's your passenger side look into Autotrix's kit as well.
