Default cyl 1 misfire...help please

Changed out the plugs when I did a header swap 2 weeks ago...scanned it today at oreilly's and it said that I have a cyl 1 misfire(didn't get the code)...is cyl 1 the back one on the passenger side?...we had trouble tightening that one...got it as tight as we could with a small rachet...but it runs fine...so i thought we got it tight enough

#1 is the front cyl on the drivers side, closest to the radiator.

f*#$..could accidentally leaving that coil pack unplugged for about 30 seconds cause that?

Maybe, if you tried starting it. Clear the code or reset the PCM and see if it comes back.

hmm when my car has a misfire in cylinder # 8 i could defaintely feel it. so having that coil pack undone probly caused it. and our PCM's are garbage when it comes to correcting themselves. i would bet if you know your car is running smooth its probly just a code stuck on.
