Default What The Hell Is Wrong With My Car

I'll try to keep it short. This only happens after a automatic wash or when it is raining. The car feels like it is pulling a tank (or two). Front take off it bogs, the rpms will rise but the feels like it is fighting me. Full throtle no problem. When the car is in park or neutral it revs fine. Highway driving it does the same thing as it does on take off, until I get past a certain point of throtle position, after that it runs good. I'm thinking I have a bad coil pack, but have no clue how to test them to see if one of them is bad.

This problem about killed me this morning, so any ideas are welcome!

First, what are your mods. Next, I would check the connections to your O2 sensors, as well as all the wiring underneath the car. Maybe even the throttle position sensor as a last resort?

Headers, ORY. That about as large as they get. I also thought that maybe a 02 simulator may be acting up but, when I worked at a detail shop there would be times when cleaning the engines the car might act up in the same way. I was hoping that someone has fixed this same problem, since I am now a little too pissed to hunt this thing down. Plus the dealership couldn't even figure it out.

well sometimes i feel that too. Well in my case, my spark plug wires are fucked up. I mean, its obviously a connection with you. Definetly ignition related. This is gonna suck to hear but check ALL your connections. For instance, 02 simulators if u have, plugs, wires, eveyrthing.

I agree with the other guy about the 02's. Since it only happens when your car gets wet.

Service Engine Soon (check engine) light illuminated or sometimes flashing on and off on the instrument panel when it acts up.

It comes and goes. When the car is acting up the light flashes. I'll check the sims. wiring today.
