Rattling Shifter

Rattling Shifter I have a M6 02 TA. When I accelerate around 2500 rpm, under my shifter make a change rattling sound. I took everything out of my console and made sure there was nothing around that couldbe making that sound. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be
I was thinking of trying that but i wondnt recommend driving without the ****. If you do becarefull. 
Also when i drove around i held just the **** and the rattle would stop and when i let go it came back. Thats how i knew it was the ****.
