Default Sounds like crickets in my a/c

Recently I've developed some kind of fan squeek on my passenger side. It comes and goes and can pretty much only be heard on the level 2 setting (unfortunately that's the one I use the most. Go figure.)Most of the time it's not too bad then out of nowhere it gets damn loud. Anyone with experience with this, fixing this, or replacing a fan motor? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the bearings have gone out in the fan motor. Common GM problem.

No it happens antime the blower is on but is only noisy on the level 2 setting.
Anyone know if it is easy to replace or maybe know a part number. Just trying to get an idea of what I'm looking at before ripping my dash apart. Thanks.

Replacing the motor/blower is easy - just an electrical connector and 3 small bolts and pulls out as a unit from under the dash. I'd pull it and see if you have something in the box itself, I've had small leaves in mine before - won't hurt to check.
