Default Noise made shifting from rev, drive etc...

I have this weird noise when I shift into rev or drive. It does it 70% of the time. It also does it when I take off sometimes and when I stop sometimes. The same noise. I just had to have my pinion seal replaced a couple of weeks ago for the 2nd time in a year. Of course after the first pinion seal replacement 6 weeks later I had to have the pinion bearing replaced. Same thing that happens to alot of people with these cars. Any help! Is this a normal sound with these cars. 99 Camaro Z28 61,000 miles driven gently.

Can you describe the noise? i.e. is it a whine, groan, roar, chatter, etc

yeah sometimes my car does it when i put it from drive to reverse or reverse to drive...i didn't think it was a big issue, just figured it was the reverse of the load placed on the driveshaft and the tranny.

Someone told me from outside the car it sounds like a rubber mount or something. I don't know. If I had a lift I could better determine where it is coming from. If I figure it out I will let you know.

check the fluid level. if it's good, then it COULD be loose engine mounts or bad U-joints.
