well it was another 100 degree day in Arkansas, i was heading out to work, as i turned on my a/c and was listening to some music, i put the car in Reverse and start turning the wheel to get out. the car started iddling rough and shut down half way out the parking spot, turned the car back on without a problem and drove off. what gives?

Probably do the simple cheap thing.....clean the MAF. Maybe when you turned the A/C on it wigged out for a second and stalled.

i went ahead and replaced the map sensor since it was the original part from gm, car has 192,xxx miles. hopefully that fixes the fuel issue, i know that a maf works with the o2 sensors to adjust the fuel trim/ fuel economy
