Horn troubleshooting

Horn troubleshooting Went to replace the horn on my 2000 TA the other day with an aftermarket high and low note. pulled the male connector off the factory horn and made a pig tail for the new horn so I wouldn't have to splice into the factory wiring harness. After hooking it all up, no horn. I did the following...
Verified the horns worked by direct 12v to the battery, both sounded.
Verified 12v at both horn connectors when the horn was pressed.
Verified 12vdc at the factory harness when the horn was pressed.
I can hear the relay clicking and swapped the fog light and horn relay to test. Both tested good.
Anyone have any ideas on what else to check? My next step is to replace the wiring from the relay to the connector but I'm really hoping I don't need to.
