my car seems to be idle around 1200rpms what could be the problem?

after i put my p&p throttlebody on my car was idling real high also, so i took off the throttlebody and held it up to the light and found it had been ported to much so air was seeping through the gaps around the butterfly. check that if you have a p&p throttlebody.

i hate vacume leaks i can never find them, where to start????

Start with the basic ones, brake booster line and all the little vacume lines. Then check your throttle body and intake gaskets.

clean your iac valve.

IAC valve..just replaced mine last night and car runs great again
