Hmm, I've read that before but I didn't remember AC/STP being rated so low. (Bad memory most likely). At least better than Fram

I will be switching to Bosch. The 3423 will be what I use if my Autozone has it - it's the xref for the PF59. Amsoil's part is the EAO64 if anyone's interested but that's more than I'm gonna spend and AZ doesn't carry it anyway.

No actually my father and I own a small lawn care company so we were able to open a commercial account with amsoil. An amsoil dealer told me I actually get the products cheaper than he can get them. I use it in all of our cars, trucks, race cars and the engines on our commercial mowers. It really is the best oil I have ever used but I personaly wouldnt be buying it if I didnt get such a good deal on it because there are alot of other very good products on the market also. I have to admit I do let friends and family order it through my account.

Hey there neighbor your just up the street from me (Germantown here). Honestly if I were you I would run the Rotella synthetic 5W-40. It is a VERY robust oil. The additive package is very good for high horsepower engines and I have seen alot of UOA's on that oil and LS1 engines and they always show very low wear numbers.

BTW I miss 75-80!!!!!! Damn you Bill!!!!! Friday nights were a blast!

Check out the amsoil racing oils.

http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/rd30.aspx

My price is $8.55 a quart plus shipping. Let me know if you want some. You can get it at my cost and come pick it up in germantown off of observation drive across from the walmart if you like.
