Hey guys, my piston slap seems to be worse this winter as compared to last. I switched from Mobil One 5W-30 to Penzoil Platnium 5W-30 and I swear it seems louder, although it could be my imagination. I know theres nothing we can do about it but its very annoying. Just wondering if anyone has switched brands or weights of oil and noticed a difference for the good "quieter".

i swear someones gonna argue with me...but i switched from castrol 10w-30syn...back to mobil 1 10w-40...car runs like a scalded dog....alot smoother

as for piston slap, get a thicker oil...simple
