drivers seat belt not working. how can i fix it?

Default drivers seat belt not working. how can i fix it?

so its official, my drivers stock seat belt isn't working anymore. as in it wont restrict anymore. it wont stop when i pull fast and hard. do you guys know how i can fix this? ive never done that line of work before. thanks guys

anybody? should i just pay someone to have this done? how much is "right" for parts and labor? or is this an easy do it yourself kind of thing? thanks again...

what color is it, I have a extra set of gray ones if you just want to replace it ....

Check the delership, sometiimes safety parts are warantied longer than the 3/36K. I got a seat belt fixed in 1998 on a car that was a 1991 for free.

I agree. The safety equipment is supposed to be covered. Check the dealer first before you waste your time and money.

Usually, the retractors are in sealed units and are meant to be replaced as a unit. Retractor and belt together. Once you get the new part, you'll need to properly torque the attachment points. If you aren't comfortable doing that, you may want to have someone put it in for you. The proper torque on the bots is critical for the belt to stay where you want it in an impact.
