So i'm at the credit union getting some things straightened out, i'm in there for an 45 minutes and I come out and find THIS

I"M SO ******* PISSED!

No note, no nothing. I"m calling the bank tommorow to see if they have tapes, I can't make another claim cuz i'm already a high risk driver and I don't know how the hit and run thing works? anybody got a clue? Will it count against me????

I don't know how the claim works, but I am guessing it wouldn't count against you in anyway.

But definitely check if the bank has tapes in view! If so, they probably can zoom in enough to catch a license number.

Best of luck. Parking lot hit and runs are just ****.

sucks, same thing happened to me a couple months back stopping by at my bank. some dumb bitch soccer mom in an suv most likely, rode up my bumper the same way as yours. unfortunately the parking lot was so clusterfucked there would have been no way a camera would have been able to catch any of it so im stuck with a bunch of scratches until i get the car repainted.

i can just imagine her pulling in, yapping on her cell phone, then thunk! "teehee" *twirls hair* continues yapping, drives away

You will still have a "ding" on your record even if its not your fault. Thats how it was for me at least when someone hit me.

That really sucks.....If you have insurance with a "good" company they will not hold this against you. They could remove your claims free discount, if you have had NO other losses.

Check to see for tapes asap before it is too late. At my dads business they re record over the old tapes regularly if they do not hear a need to keep them for records.

Nothing like an inconsiderate ******* to ruin your day. Definitely jump on the videotape thing, it's worth a shot. And I don't think this will cause you any problems with your insurance company, at least it shouldn't. At most you would have to pay your deductible. It wasn't your fault after all.

Screw insurance, find the tapes, get the license plate and tell that bitch/jackass that if they don't pay the cost out of pocket that you will show the tape to the police and nail them for hit and run.

OMG I'd hunt that scumbag down.I would get those tapes asap and call the cops. That way they gotta fix your car and they get nailed for hit and run. Maybe they will think twice next time they hit a car then. People sometimes =

That is bullshit man believe me all big companies do it and try to push away people so that they don't have to make a report or be witnesses if needed. My company does it too when it has happened in the parking lot they say "The car was out of the visible angle" but they never show you the video. You know how long it takes to fill out an Incident report and talk to my insurance agency when someone gets hurt? About 3-4 hours. Imangine them taking 30 min to "switching the tapes". If anything talk to your local police station to see what can you do. The thing is that I belive that if you do not make a police report they do not "have" to show you the tape.
