Default Squeak from left rear on driverside

I have a "squeak" that makes noise whenever the car driving. Whenever I turn the steering wheel to the right, or might slight right hand turns it always makes the sound. I've also noticed that the sound stops as soon as the breaks are applied. I think it's brake related, but we pulled the calipers and the rotors look fine. Also regreased the slide, but it's still doing it. Any ideas?

This is really annoying. It squeaks when driving straight and when the car is slightly turning right. (bends in the road). Doesn't do it when turning left. The squeak also goes away when the brakes are applied.

wow I just made a thread with the same problem, only the squeak is definitely worse while applying the brakes.

It's driving me nuts. It's gotta be rubbing something somewhere when the wheel is in motion. I just don't know where.

Jack the rear up by the axle, put the car in neutral, and spin the back wheels by hand.

Peace,
Craig.

I noticed today when I turn left the noise went away also. Check your brake pads...

Already did that. Found that the noise is definitely at the rear left wheel. Neither the pads nor the rotors are pitted/scarred.

I think I'm going to take a look again at the brackets everyone talks about that rub against the rotor. Though there were no funny marks or anything.

i had the same issue. it turned out since i put new brakes on it did it but didnt go away even if i was on the brakes. i had put aftermarket rotors on from napa. turns out those were no good i ended up getting factory gm rotors for the rear and the noise is mysteriously gone.
