Default service light after tune up? HELP!!!!

ok i just did a tune on my Lt1 in my 96 formula. i put iridum plugs and taylor 10.4mm wires on. My alternator is bad so when i come to a stop the battery guage goes into the yellow its around 10 volts i guess it is. it ran fine for a while then the check engine light came on, so i scanned it and it said cylinder 1 misfire. i guess my question is could my alternator not functioning properly cause it to think there is a misfire. cause when the gauge goes that low it idles bad. but when ur driving hard or just driving along it runs like a champ. PLEASE HELP!!!!

If the problem just started happening after the tune up, you should recheck the spark plug & wire on #1.

well the check engine light was on before saying random misfire, thats why i did a tune up. like putting the high performance wires and plugs in. and i checked the wire and plug and its fine. so i thought maybe because it was sending low voltage and idleing bad it made it think it was a misfire. But i dont know.
