Starting Issue Help

This problem doesnt occur on all start ups. 9 times out of 10 it starts fine. But every now and then it takes a few seconds for the engine to turn over. The best way I can describe this is that when I turn the key it sounds like its going to start but the just keeps trying but eventually starts. At first it sounds normal but it just takes a little more to actually start. I tried to see if it did it when it was cold or hot but it doesnt seem to matter. On a side note my voltage will dip past midway almost into the red area of the gauge then jump back up to normal. This happens often and has been every since I purchased the car a couple of years ago. Other than this it runs perfect. I have no idea what is going on so any help would be nice. Thanks.

Easy fix. Sell it and buy a Honda:owned::flipeye::moon::usa:

Maybe your starter solenoid is on the way out?

I will have to look into the solenoid. It would be nice if it were something easy like that.

Unlike my fathers idea of buying a honda. :supergay:
lol

It cranks ok. Just won't start as quick as before:usa:

Need new battery, or cable connections are not good.
