Difference between the 2000 WS6 and the 01-02's?
 

I hear there are some differences in the stock engine bolt on's but not sure what.
What can I do to this 2000 WS6 that made a better difference in 01-02 for increased horse power? :nod:

'01-'02 recieved the LS6 intake manifold, and supposedly better flowing exhaust manifolds.

2000's where the first year with the improved exhaust manifolds. 01-02 cars have the LS6 intake and also have no EGR. Since they have no EGR they also have a different cam, it's a lower lift but more duration I believe.

thats right. except the cam is lower lift and lower duration.

2001 - 2002 198 / 197 @ .050" Duration .478" / .478" Lift 115 LSA

The 2000's have nicer looking wheels IMO.

Ha! I think the 2000's do have the nicer looking wheels (little thinner even the painted wheels have some gloss apperence to em).
Is the LS6 a big improvement?
Would it be worth changing for I think you only gain 5 hspwr.

I really love this car!
