Thrown a Belt?
 

Has anyone ever broke one or threw a belt? Tonight while testing ont the new EWP I was 10 miles from home when the belt snaped. If I had not had the EWP I feel certain the car would be on the side of the road still. Now I have to figure out why it ate a belt. :bang:

How many miles were on the belt? Has it ever thrown one before?

Maybe 2000 miles on the belt.

had the same prob at the same miles. bought new tensioner, good to go. I got stranded for a while though. My car had about 42000 when it got week and started throwing belts. easy to fix.

Ya but the car only had 3900 on the OD total. Guess I'll look into a new one or a Katech if I kill a 2nd belt.
