what part of the intake will not clear on an f-body? i have the harwood 3 inch show series hood on mine, im sure some cowl trimming would be necessary, but with a lil bit of cutting it should fit under a 3 inch hood right?

By the way it looks it will take more than a "little" cutting to get it to fit in a F-body.

I have something it will fit on and should work great. Seems to like the same camshaft as well.

Tim,
Thanks for posting your results. How does it drive with the Edelbrock intake? Is the low end power still comfortable?

Polished XT intakes are not available directly from Edelbrock. You would have to have it polished else where. The black powder coated intakes are due sometime in May.

Actually can't answer that yet. Having major problems with the MAF in the truck. Just went to the dyno for a second time and still having the same issues. Hopefully have an answer in the next few days if we can figure out the problem.

i was taking measurements the other night it seems like it will clear with cutting of the cowl and at most you might have to space the k-member 1/2 inch
i will be putting one on my car soon as my motor is done being built

oh btw thanks for being the first one to man up and put this thing on
and please give us an write up so everybody not so damn scared of this intake.

does anybody have real dyno # this thing yet
i would like to know how it would stand against a fast 92/92

yeah i have my short block in my car right now (waiting to be pull out) and there is 7.5 inchs from the valley tray cover to the very bottom of the cowl and the diagrams on here have shown you need about 9.5 to the top of the intake so with correct cutting and maybe 1/2 inch k spacer we might be able to keep are windshiled wipers but you really dont need those anyways ( weight savings lol)

Alright...I read every flipping post on this entire 32 flipping page thread so noone could tell me to try the search. Hahaha

I noticed that Bob@EPP said this will fit a C5 with a little work. Please elaborate sir. I'd love to be the first to try it.

Take a look at this C6 Z06 we built in which we used a sheetmetal intake. Bob
