Ive got a chance to pick up a set of 241's real cheap. Has anyone had any luck porting these heads to get them to flow decent worth the money?

Depends on how cheap you can get them, but yeah they should flow pretty good.

my 853s with stock valves flow very similar to stock AFR 205s
