I have had both and currently running the Kook's 1 7/8 race version....won't ever change them again, nice solid product and great fitment. I got a good deal via a group purchase here on Tech....can't/won't complain about the price especially for the quality you receive in return.

No. Get stainless it will last longer and the Kooks lt's are a good choice along with QTP (mine) and ARH.

I had coated Hookers on my 94 vette. 10 years later they still work and look good. I have Kooks on my 04 and they are very nice, but I wouldn't worry about which would last longer. Stainless will retain heat better than mild steel which is why some people don't get them coated.

kooks, with ceramic coating, this really keeps alot of heat in the header, about 10 minutes after shutdown i can touch the header without getting scorched
