Default 243 Heads on a LQ9 6.0

OK now is time it is the real deal. I finally got some 243's but what else am I gonna need to bolt them up? I have the Head Gaskets, and head bolts... Will I need different Pushrods? Also would these heads hurt my motor and is anyone running a set up like mine?

I had my 243's worked on for the bigger bore of the 6L. Pushrods should be the same but I would check them just to be sure.

Cool, maybe that's why the "Kidney" on the heads are shaved a little bit wider. Will I feel the difference performance wise from the 317 heads to 243's?

im at 11.3 now only because i had my heads cut for different cam then changed cam wanted 11.5 to 11.8 should have cut them sum more,it all about the cam. you can run 11.6 pretty easy with a good tune, its the dcr you got to worry about, ask patrick g he will tell ya or just search for sum scr and dcr info and you will learn alot.
