I would leave the front of your air box open, as you are not using ther FTRA yet...

so i was at depot this morning and bought a roll of the foam tape

i put the foam tape on the lid, and when i pressurized the lid i noticed that alittle bit of air was escaping from the back part of the lid

my question is did you guys fully seal the lid or did you have some air escape.

torchd -well i did i use foam tape that is twice as wide as the tape you used so technically i did double seal it

all im saying is, is your lid 100% sealed or do you have a little air leak in the back.

if i push down on the back it will seal off

better add some more tape then...

mine completely seals with one strip...i guess it depends on the lid and thickness of the weather stripping...

Like chris said it depends on the weather stripping. Mine is not that wide, that is why i used 2 layers.

Are you still experiencing a gap by the tabs?

This is definately something that I must do. Going to pick up some weather stripping today. Thanks for the idea.

I also want to get the BG Ram air kit from speed inc. Looks to be pretty good.
